Is this thing on??

So, I have been so busy being a new mama to this sweet little pumpkin that I haven't had much time for blogging or creating, but I am finally trying to get the hang of balancing mommyhood and teacherdom.

Isn't she the cutest? =)

Anyway, I have been working on a new product that I have had stewing around in my head for a while. I actually tried to start something very similar several months back, but I lost it when my hard drive went kaput! Anyway, this new file will be for those South Carolina teachers out there. I wanted to put together some non-fiction articles to teach about all things South Carolina!

This will be a huge project and I problably won't be finished for a while because of the number of articles I want to include, but I will eventually have it posted. I wanted to give my bloggy friends a little sneak peek!

For each article, I am trying to make varied response pages so they aren't just the same thing each time. I am including practice with text features, making outlines, comparing and contrasting, context clues, main idea, details, cause and effect, summarizing, questioning, etc...

Let me know if there is anything else you might want to see included in the set!

  3. Wow!! This will be an awesome resource. It is something that I will DEFINITELY purchase. Will you have an article or more for each of the SC history standards?

    1. Courtney, I don't know that there will be an article for every single standard, but many of them. I am including random SC stuff in there as well. I like this idea though. I will definitely see about adding an article for each standard. This could take FOREVER though! haha
