I would use 'text speak' as an example of how not to write in your writing pieces. I had some girls in third grade a few years ago who could have used this lesson! I would love to first use this as a way to tell my kids we are going to Disney! For my Kinder classroom - I could see using this for sight words - just a fun way to help them learn them! Or asking them to say a word that starts with a letter. Great for beginning reading skills! This would be fun to use in class, I could type their results! Can you see it as a knock knock joke? One kid reads the green, the other the white.
