I had a request to create a Math Word Wall sign to accompany my vocabulary cards so I created one for math and for reading (since I plan on creating those this summer). I am offering them to you all for free in honor of my last day of school, which was Friday!
My last day with the kids was so bittersweet. Only like 12 of my kids showed up so I was sad all of my students didn't get their cute end of the year gift which I stole from Pinterest!
Mine was a bit different than this, but you get the gist...
I was so sad to see those little sweeties go! One of my boys said, "I wish there were 280 school days in the year!" {We attend school for 180 days, so you can see why I was sort of touched by his sweet comment.} I hugged them all as they left my room and thought to myself that I will probably never have another group quite like them. I know I will see many of them next year, but it just won't be the same!
We have a couple of more teacher work days to go, but that's a piece-a-cake since I'm practically completely down with my end of the year checklist. =) Sometimes, not procrastinating is pret-ty awesome!
Here are the headers I created that can be used with my Common Core cards or just for whatever your little heart desires!
The graphics are from Scrappin' Doodles, the letters are from Lettering Delights, and the frames are from The Digital Bake Shop, and the background is from Pixel Papers.

Help. I want to buy those frames but I do not see it on the shop.

It's too bad so many kids didn't show up. Our last day (lower elem.) is a full day, but the upper elem/MS/HS have less than an hour of school the following morning. Surprising how many show up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cute signs...might inspire me to start thinking about next year. (We still have a week...)
Thank you SO much for this!!! Wow! It's so pretty. I will use it next year for sure. Thanks for sharing with other teachers!!
ReplyDeleteWow - love the bright colors! They look great!

Hi, Love the signs - what is the name for the letters you used? I was looking on Lettering Delights but couldn't find them. Thanks for sharing!! Sara
ReplyDeleteThe letters are called Funky Chicken! I love them!
ReplyDeleteMost teachers always adore their students but it is really rare where a teacher has a class that she hates to see go. I had the sweetest goup of kinders this year and felt 100% blessed. I am glad you did as well.
ReplyDeleteI love these signs! I need one to match for science too. Would it be too much to ask for directions on how to make these?
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Can you make a Science one and a Social Studies one?!?! :) Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have Social Studies and Science Word Wall sign. I tried to look for it on the internet, but no luck! Please help me out!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have different signs:
ReplyDeleteLanguage Arts
Read
Word Attack Skills
Math
If you could do these for a 2nd grade teacher friend of mine that would be AWESOME!
Could you do these with these areas:
ReplyDeleteLanguage Arts
Read
Word Attack Skills
Math
Love them... Now I need Science!
